Door Closer Adjustment, Repair, Replacement and Installation

The approved scope may be adjustment, targeted repair, replacement of a failed closer or installation of a new compatible closer. Door weight, width, traffic, mounting conditions and hinge-side resistance are considered before equipment is selected.

When Replacement or New Installation Is Better

Replacement may be recommended when leakage, damage, wear or incompatibility prevents reliable adjustment. A new closer installation can be scoped for an opening that needs controlled closing and compatible mounting.

What We Check Before Final Testing

We review the full opening, alignment, hinges, closer body and arm, mounting, closing speed, latch speed and strike engagement, then test the repaired opening. Automatic operator faults remain with the Automatic Door Operator service.

When does a door closer need replacement?

Replacement may be appropriate when the closer leaks, is physically damaged, cannot hold adjustment or is incompatible with the door and mounting conditions.

Yes. We can select and install a compatible closer after the door width, weight, traffic, mounting and operating conditions are reviewed.
